Jacksonville Area Opportunities: Laboratory Assistant (FT) - Receives and processes blood into blood components. Seeking a person with flexibility to join our laboratory department. Must be able to work independently, handle multiple assignments and perform repetitive tasks. Duties include preparing and filtering components from whole blood, documenting component preparation, accurate completion of packing, shipping and other related procedures Medical Technician - This position requires a precise, hard worker, who will strive to do their best to accurately perform tasks in processing, bacterial detection, hematology, and antigen testing necessary to prepare and process blood and components in a timely manner. Will also complete ancillary duties including reporting of test results, sample handling, reagent preparation, record keeping and quality control. Medical Technologist - We need someone who can precisely and accurately perform and interpret routine to complex immunohematology procedures necessary to prepare and process blood and components to satisfy hospital referral or requests. Completes all ancillary duties including reporting of test results, sample handling, reagent preparation, record keeping and quality control. These duties are accomplished in accordance with TBA's SOPs and policies as well as current FDA and AABB requirements. The employee must be able to cover regular and shift work for vacations, holidays and sick leave as scheduled and as necessary. The individual must also demonstrate the ability to work independently and complete assigned projects on time. Participation in continuing education and cGMP training, staff meetings and completion competency assessment on time is also required. Associate's degree in Medical Technician or Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with a degree in Medical Technology or related field is required. Mobile Unit Specialist - Looking for a person to perform the complete general daily servicing, maintenance and stocking of all TBA's Mobile Units and vehicles used by Donor Services. Must be able to work irregular hours, including weekends and evenings. Also must have the ability to lift and/or regularly move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 65 pounds. If you can handle a fast paced environment we would like to talk to you. Appointment Setter (PT) - We are looking for a conscientious, detail-oriented person to be our Contact Center Representative. You must be able to handle phone calls with an accommodating attitude, have the ability to contribute as a team member, and have a sense of pride in a job well done. This position contacts past blood donors from existing database to schedule return appointments. Basic computer and keyboarding skills. Education/Experience - High School diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Call Center Team Lead - Looking for a conscientious, detail-oriented person to oversee the Contact Center Representatives in achieving departmental goals. You must be able to handle phone calls with an accommodating attitude, have the ability to contribute as a team member, and have a sense of pride in a job well done. St. Augustine Area Opportunities: Inside Account Manager - Responsible for ensuring that the group blood drives are properly scheduled, staffed and supported and for maintenance of positive relationships with new and existing donor groups. Mobile Unit Collection Specialist - The ideal candidate will be friendly, patient, conscientious person who will constantly strive to do accurate work. This position will primarily work on our mobile units to perform donor blood collection functions including medical reviews, physical assessment, and phlebotomy. Current CPR certification is helpful.
